Well, we are finally starting a blog for Kali. It's been a long time coming, we had one done up over the winter, but had nothing to blog about! SO, this is our fresh start, for the things to come for her. She has officially been registered as a member of Las Vegas Dock Dogs - and also signed up for her first two competitions!
For those that don't know Kali, she has a very different personality. She does like to swim, does like to jump.. but just on her terms. She has opened up a LOT over the last year and is starting to actually want to do things to please ME (not on her own terms) - so I decided to take her to a practice and see if I could get her to jump off the side of the pool.. and she did! Now, obviously I know this does not mean she will jump off the dock, but its a start!
We are going to Cynosports in Phoenix, the end of the month - and while Tractor only is going to do 2 Big Air waves and Super Vertical - Kali is going to jump in 3 Big Air waves!
I am going to see how she does at these first couple events.. and if she seems to enjoy herself, I will consider enrolling her in a VERY beginner agility class. We'll see.
Anyway, that's all for now.. just wanted to get this thing up and running so Kali will now have a place to show off as well!
